Community Health Program

“The spirit of the Sovereign LORD is on me, because the LORD has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted . . . . . . . . to comfort all who mourn, and provide for those who grieve in Zion – to bestow on them a crown of beauty instead of ashes , the oil of joy instead of mourning and a garment of praise instead of a spirit of despair”. {Isaiah 61: 1- 3}

This is the most recent activity initiated by the society. It is a plain fact that there are many sick and suffering brethren in our community, who for various reasons find it difficult or even impossible to visit a hospital or clinic. May be regular monitoring of BP or blood / urine sugar level and appropriate simple medication or proper diet planning can make many of them more comfortable to enjoy their life on earth. May be, such a service can enable a good number of them come out of their confinements and walk around the pavements across their houses and see people and mingle with their friends and relations at least to a limited extent. The Society has taken up this sort of a service and with help of an ambulance and nursing staff, carries out visits in the village to make aged and sick people better tuned to live more happily.
